FOX Entertainment Studios needed a brand that could keep up with the machine behind it. After years of growth, new acquisitions, and content flying in every direction, FES was running hot without a single system to hold it together. We stepped in to pull order from the chaos — building a flexible, shape-driven identity rooted in FOX DNA, engineered to move across platforms, markets, and formats without losing its punch. One system. Endless outputs. Unmistakably FOX.
For nearly four decades, FOX Entertainment has been one of the most recognizable media brands in the world. FOX built a global content machine that never stops producing; broadcast to streaming, scripted to unscripted.
In 2024, FOX acquired Mar Vista Entertainment.
The network’s rapid expansion across FOX Television Network, FOX Entertainment Global, and FOX Entertainment Studios (FES) left the “new” FES without a cohesive identity. Fragmented content complexity created brand chaos. FES needed a unifying system flexible enough to serve every market, format, and platform.
K2B had already spent nearly a decade shaping FOX campaigns and brand packages, making us the natural partner to bring cohesion to the chaos.
The Shape Remix is a uniquely FOX idea that pulls the abstracted core shapes of the FOX logo and reworks them into a modular system. Like a DJ flipping familiar tracks, the F, O, and X morph into new forms that are rhythmic and alive. These shapes drive the compositions, motion, and energy of the FES brand.



From that foundation came a set of clear brand signatures.
WHAT’S FAMILIAR — The system maintains the FOX brand DNA by using the hero brand colors and font to ensure global clarity. The FES logo and hero blue palette stay intact to keep the DNA pure. Typography stays grounded in Neue Plak for consistency across borders.
WHAT’S FRESH — The Shape Remix turns the reductive letterforms into a new graphic language. Dynamic frameworks flex from single-title hero placements to dense multi-title grids. Motion theory splits into FLOAT/DRIFT and SURGE/BURST — movement that channels FOX’s balance of confidence and playful energy.

In close step with various internal FOX teams, K2B delivered packaging tools, templates, and a system that works anywhere. The comprehensive style guide lays down principles [not handcuffs] built for clarity rather than control.
